Yes! Group Training is more about what you put into it than what fitness level you are. Coach Liam provides modifications as well as advancements for each exercise to provide an effective and safe workout for everyone. With a few small adjustments, we make exercises accessible to all!

In the COVID environment, our group fitness classes are indoor, and one-on-one sessions are indoor, outdoor (outside of gym) or virtual depending trainer’s availability.

You don't have to tell us which classes you're coming to. Although we do recommend reserving classes in advance as it saves you a spot and help us better prepare for you!

This is different for everybody and depends on your schedule, but we recommend 3. Most people see results within 3-6 weeks. Working out between 3 and 5 times per week paired with an appropriate nutrition plan will yield dramatic results. It's all about consistency!

Commitment is a good thing when it comes to your health and well-being. You only get one body, so take care of it! With so many available class times, even if your schedule changes due to work or life, you can still get your workout in. You can have a short-term bikini goal, but working out/staying in shape is a life-long commitment. We also offer 6-month packages to ease you in!

No worries at all, you can also book single classes.

We will not put a membership on hold unless if you have a doctor's note that is restricting you from training. If you are traveling we will provide a personalized program that you can do at the hotel. Email us at [email protected] if you have more questions.

With our semi-private group fitness classes, you won’t be competing for shower time as most people live close and shower at home. Plus we have multiple showers and fully stocked changing rooms. With complimentary fresh towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hairdryers, hair ties, and more, you’ll have everything you need to transition from the gym to work effortlessly.

Bring your own water bottle, but feel free to fill up at our filtered water fountains.

Yes - we offer complimentary parking spaces because we know that searching for parking is the LAST thing you want to do before starting your workout.

All prepaid sessions are non-refundable and non-transferable. Scheduled sessions require a 24-hour cancellation notice, or they will be charged.

Personal training is everyone, no matter the skill level. It’s excellent for beginners to help get acclimated to working out in a gym setting, learning proper technique and building a great habit. On the flip side, if you are an intermediate or advanced fitness enthusiast, personal training can help you push through that plateau or shred that last percentage of body fat. The best athletes in the world use trainers to keep them striving for excellence.

We've always been dedicated to the health and safety of our community, but we're making our studio safer than ever. Provided below are the additional health and safety precautions we are taking at Impact Fitness Oakland! 

  • UPGRADED CLEANING SCHEDULE: We will do a heightened deep-cleaning of the studio with top-grade disinfectants before and after class. We will be asking members to clean the equipment they used, and we will allow for additional time between sessions to effectively clean the equipment and the facility. 
  • TOWEL SERVICE: We will temporarily discontinue our towel service and encourage you to bring your own sweat towel & shower towels. 
  • UPDATED PROGRAMMING: We've updated our workout programming to offer virtual workouts! You will be able to join our challenging workouts in your own dedicated space. 
  • INCREASED VENTILATION: We will keep the studio well ventilated by opening the doors when appropriate and adjusting the air conditioning as needed. 
  • HAND SANITIZER & DISINFECTING WIPES: These items will be readily available for your use throughout the studio. 
  • TEAM HAND WASHING: Our coaches and team will be washing their hands as soon as they arrive and will be diligently washing their hands after each class or coaching session.

We are in this together, and we need YOUR help when we reopen to keep our studio as safe as possible. 

  • Workout Shoes Only: We are asking that everyone wear gym shoes only (no street shoes) in the studio to avoid tracking in any germs or bacteria. Please bring a separate pair of sneakers that you only wear inside the studio. 
  • Air High-Fives! As much as we LOVE high-fives in the studio, we'll be doing air-high-fives for the time being. 
  • Hand Washing: Please wash your hands (up to your elbows) for at LEAST 20 seconds BEFORE and AFTER your workout. 
  • Keeping Equipment Clean: Please wipe down every piece of equipment after each use (with our provided disinfectant wipes). 
  • Please Stay Home If You're Not Well: If you're not feeling 100%, please stay home and rest or participate in our virtual sessions until you feel better. (Our team will also be following this policy!)
