Private-quality coaching, shared sessions
Train in a small session of up to four, each on your own individual program. You get the same hands-on coaching as one-on-one personal training in Oakland, at roughly half the cost from $65 per 55-minute session.
The results of one-on-one, without the one-on-one price
Traditional personal training in Oakland often runs $100+ per hour, locking you into a single trainer with little flexibility.
We built semi-private training on a simple idea: elite coaching should not be reserved for the ultra-wealthy. You get the same personalized programming and tailored workouts, for as low as $65 per 55-minute session, so you can train more often and see faster progress.
Your session runs with up to three other clients, each following their own plan. It is more personal than a class and easier on your budget than solo training the middle ground most people are actually looking for.
- Individual programming, not a one-size-fits-all class
- Coached, corrected, and pushed in every session
- Train alongside people on the same journey

Common questions
How is semi-private different from a group class? +
In a class, everyone does the same workout. In semi-private training, you follow your own individual program built by your coach even though you share the session with up to three others. It's personal coaching, not a one-size-fits-all class.
How many people are in a session? +
Up to four people total you and up to three other clients. That keeps the environment intimate so your coach can give you the same quality of attention as a one-on-one session.
How much does it cost? +
Expert coaching starts as low as $65 per 55-minute session about half of what traditional one-on-one training in Oakland typically costs. The lower per-session rate means you can train more often and reach your goals faster.
Do I get my own program? +
Yes. You get a customized training plan for both your coached sessions and independent workouts, plus individualized nutrition coaching. Everything is built around your goals, not the group's.
Can I use my HSA or FSA? +
Many clients qualify to pay with pre-tax HSA/FSA dollars through Truemed, which can save around 30%. Ask us at your free intro and we'll help you check.
Where are you located? +
We're at 985 3rd St, Oakland, CA 94607, in West Oakland near Jack London Square serving Emeryville, Alameda, Piedmont, Berkeley, and the wider East Bay.
